Hello

After years of container gardening on my apartment’s balcony, I finally have a house with a yard which needed a garden.  My parents are avid gardeners, especially my dad, and have passed along the gardening genes as well as many wonderful plants to me.  There’s something about a garden with brings a pleasant surprise every day to your life and helps you slow down that hectic and frantic lifestyle that so many of us go through on a daily basis.  This will be my version of a combination of a gardening and life journal.

LOCATION: I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana (Zone 8b).

OBSESSIONS: Gardening, Reading books, Traveling, Cooking and Eating, Drinking Teas and Collecting kitchenware.
